Should the recipient not be home we will attempt to deliver to a neighbour or post a card through the letterbox informing them that a delivery has been attempted. Please ensure the correct address is provided for the recipient.
If an attempted delivery fails (such as the wrong address specified on the order), we reserve the right to charge additional costs to re-deliver or to deduct the shipping costs /product wastage from any refund if the order is subsequently cancelled.
There may be delays in delivery where a third party is involved, such as delivery to hospitals, hotels, offices and ships. In case of delivery to such locations, the signature of any person authorised to accept delivery on behalf of the organisation shall be accepted as proof of delivery.
Our liability for non-delivery of the products shall be limited to replacing the product within reasonable time.
Same Day Delivery - Order before 12:30pm
Same Day Delivery is normally possible on all orders although some remote areas may take longer to deliver to. A representative of Rays Florist will contact you directly to advise you of any delivery that may take longer than expected.
Orders received after 12:30pm would generally be delivered on the next available day. If the address provided is a work address, please indicate the times the recipient will be available at that address or if a private address, when we are likely to find the recipient at home.
With the exception of funeral orders we are unable to carry out timed deliveries. We cannot guarantee any specific times or am/pm requests included in the 'Special requirements' box, but we'll do our very best to accommodate you.
If a timed delivery is critical we may be able to arrange this for you at an additional cost, please call us on 0800 0372025. Mothering Sunday is the only Sunday of the year that we will deliver flowers. Deliveries are not possible on UK Bank Holidays.

International deliveries Delivery schedules vary from country to country and may take up to 3 working days. To place an order please call us on 0800 0372025. Exchange rates, regional availability and the seasonality of flowers may affect international deliveries.
Rays Florist Sundries deliveries
For the dispatch of florist supplies we use either:
- Royal mail First class Packetpost TM
- DHL (For orders over 2kg)

Delivery procedures and lead times
Rays florist understand the need for floral products to be sent out as quickly as possible. With that in mind we will pack and dispatch your order on the same day if we receive the order by 12pm. If we receive your order after 12pm, your order will be packed and dispatched the next working day. This ensures that the time from you ordering the product to receiving it is kept to a minimum. We dispatch floristry supplies Monday - Friday.
*Please note: Royal mail do not guarantee a Saturday by 1pm delivery, so if we dispatch your goods on a Friday by special delivery they are guaranteed for the following Monday by 1pm.
Delivery packaging and receiving
On delivery of your floral supplies, please check that the goods are received in good condition. Failure to do so may lead to us being unable to replace goods damaged in transit by the couriers. If this is the case you must contact us within 24 hours by email. If you would like any more information on our delivery or packaging procedures then please contact us by email.
Would you like to collect your sundries?
Should you wish to collect your items from Rays florist, this needs to be by arrangement only. Please contact us by email between 9am and 5pm to ascertain availability and to place your order. If we have the item in stock then you can collect either the same day or at a later date. Rays florist require either prepayment or payment on collection for this service.
You must contact us by email within 14 days of your order being placed. Failure to do so may lead to us being unable to replace goods lost in transit. If you think you have received an incorrect delivery, or if you believe your item is lost or delayed in transit please contact us by email. You must provide your order number and date of purchase. Royal Mail deliver 94.9% of their deliveries within the stated time frame, however in a small amount of cases your delivery may be delayed. We will not be liable for any loss, damage, incorrect delivery or delay if we do not receive details of your claim within the 14 day period. We will also not be liable for any compensation for late deliveries should the delivery agent fail to deliver within their stated delivery period. We also offer a recorded and next day delivery service for added delivery security.
Item out of stock and returns policy
If your item is not in stock, we will contact you. You will always be emailed or telephoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. If a faulty item is delivered or it is not the item ordered, the customer will be offered a replacement. If this is not satisfactory a full refund will be offered. Faulty items must be returned within 14 days if a refund is to be issued. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Order cancellation must be done within 7 days of receiving the goods. If the goods are returned for any reason other than being faulty i.e. not wanted, the return postage will have to be paid by the customer. Refunds will be done as soon as possible but please allow two weeks for the money to be returned to your account.
