Ordering Flowers and gifts

 

Can I order flowers and gifts over the telephone?
Yes, please see our 'contact us' information page.

 

Can I order multiple items?
Yes, you can order flowers for multiple addresses during the same session.

 

How do I know you have got my order?
Once your secure payment has been completed you will receive an automated email with your order details.

 

What if I do not receive an order confirmation by e-mail?
Should you not receive any email from us after placing your order please call us on 0800 0372025.

 

Can I cancel / amend my order?
Yes, you can, but we regret that orders cannot be cancelled or amended within 48 hours of dispatch for all orders with the exception of funeral flowers where we require a minimum of 4 days notice.

 

Can I pre-order in advance?
We accept orders up to 12 months in advance and we recommend that flowers specifically for a funeral be made at least 48 hours before the actual funeral.

 

Delivery

 

What days are flower deliveries made?
Flowers for gifts can be delivered the same day, Monday - Saturday if ordered by 1pm*.
Flowers from the Wedding collection range require 7 days notice.

*Saturday by 12pm.

 

Do you deliver flowers on Sundays?
We only deliver flowers on Mothering Sunday, Valentines day (if on a Sunday) or during peak trading periods.

 

Do you deliver flowers on Bank Holidays?
No, we don't deliver flowers on UK bank holidays.

 

Who delivers the flowers?
If the flower delivery is within our local geographical area, then Rays Florist will deliver there directly. Otherwise we will relay all Uk national flower orders via the Flowers Direct or e-florist (formerly Teleflorist) network of florists, of whom Rays Florist Ltd is a member.

 

Can I specify a timed delivery?
With the exception of funeral flower and wedding flower orders we are unable to carry out timed deliveries. We cannot guarantee any specific times or am/pm requests, but we'll do our very best to accommodate you.

 

What times are deliveries made?
Flower deliveries are usually made by Rays Florist, national Flowers Direct florists or e-florist (Teleflorist) members between the hours of 7am and 9pm.

 

What happens if the recipient is not home?
We or the delivery agent will attempt to leave your delivery in a secure and convenient place (for example with a neighbour). On the occasions we are unable to deliver we will post a card informing the recipient of the necessary contact details and re-deliver the next day.

What do I do if my order has not been delivered?
Please wait until after 7pm as deliveries can be made up until this time (at peak times - could be later).
Secondly check your e-mail to see if there have been any problems with your order.

Can you deliver to Hotels, Ships, or Offices?
Yes but please include some additional information:

• Hotels: Address, Telephone No, Room No (if known), Name of tour company (if applicable)
• Ships: Date and Time of sailing/docking, Cabin No (if known)
• Offices: Company Name, Full address, Working hours.

Can you deliver to hospitals?

Most hospitals do not accept flowers on any ward (including maternity). Please check the hospitals flower policy before ordering. If the hospital does not accept flowers then delivery to a home address / relatives address is always possible.

 

Can you deliver flowers overseas?
Yes, please call us on 0800 0372025.
 
Can you deliver wedding flowers nationally?
Yes, we can deliver wedding flowers nationally via the Flowers direct relay service, aswell as wedding flowers produced at our premises for direct delivery by Rays Florist within the Surrey and Hampshire areas.
