By ordering products and using this website you agree to our guarantee and terms and conditions set out below.

Rays Florist Ltd aim to be the best supplier of floral products and floristry supplies. If you are unhappy with your purchase then please notify us within 2 days of receipt and we will attempt to remedy the situation as soon as is practically possible. Refunds may occasionally be given at the discretion of the management. Because of the perishable nature of our products you are advised to make any complaint within 1 working day of the delivery of your flowers. We always endeavour to reach an agreement for either for a replacement or a refund depending upon the nature of the complaint. All bouquets and funeral flowers are hand delivered. Floristry supplies are delivered via Royal mail or DPD courier company.

In the event that your flowers are not received, please contact us within 2 days after the expected delivery date so that we can investigate as soon as is practically possible. Please make sure that the recipient will be at the address for sometime after the expected delivery date as if the recipient no longer stays or resides at the address where delivery has failed we will not be able to refund on the basis that the recipient is no longer there though we will be able to re-send the flowers as part of our guarantee. In the case of flower deliveries to funeral directors, the delivery responsibility ends once the funeral director has received the flowers. We will not be held responsible for the onward delivery of flowers from the funeral directors.

In the case of failed deliveries we do not refund orders unless there has been an error in the order process or that a duplicate order has been placed. We do not refund orders once the order has been accepted and is within 48 hours (or longer for funeral flowers), nor do we refund based on late or failed deliveries but we guarantee, if the address is correct, to re-send any product as soon as practicably possible. If we do refund a cancelled order we reserve the right to charge an admin fee to cover card processing costs and/or time spent processing or planning the order (typically 5% of order value).

If a floral delivery is refused by the recipient for any reason then Rays Florist Ltd will not be liable to refund or replace the item. Rays Florist Ltd will, however, try to resolve the matter with the person who ordered the flowers. The contract of sale is between Rays Florist Ltd and the customer who ordered the flowers. Rays Florist Ltd will not enter into any discussions regarding this unlikely sequence of events unless written correspondence is received. Rays Florist Ltd does not deliver to flowers to PO Box numbers and cannot deliver to incomplete addresses. Rays florist cannot be held liable for incorrect recipient`s addresses. Please make sure that all addresses including postcodes are complete and correct.

Whilst every effort is made to make deliveries when requested and prevent delivery requests for such dates such as public holidays, Rays Florist Ltd cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries due to factors such as public holidays and factors within and beyond our control and will endeavour to deliver either before or after dates requested or as soon as is practicably possible. In the event of the recipient not being at the address at the time of delivery, the delivery driver will endeavour to find a close neighbour to accept the flowers and leave a card informing the intended recipient as to the location. On occasion the flowers will be left in a secure area at the address. For floristry sundries Royal mail or Interlink courier will attempt to deliver between the hours of 7am and 6pm.

As fresh flowers are a living product there are occasions that a particular flower may be unavailable. Whilst every effort is made to source the product sometimes it is impossible to use a particular flower. All floral gifts are subject to availability and stringent quality checks. Rays Florist Ltd or any third party delivery agent reserves the right to send a similar floral gift or product of equal or greater value as and when necessary. All flowers must have their stems cut about an inch from the bottom of the stems on receipt and every two to three days re-cut and placed in fresh, clean water in a clean vase or container. Perishability will depend on level of care and lower room temperature. All of our floral gift bouquets are sent with full care instructions for your benefit. All credit/debit card payments are subject to automated validation checks by Sagepay and paypal payment services and authorisation by the card issuer with information collected via the respective secure online payment systems. If the issuer of your credit/debit card does not authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. By using this website you do so at your own risk and neither Rays Florist Ltd or any associated companies; parent or subsidiary, any of its associates, employees or partners are responsible for any error, accident, hurt feelings or misfortune that should result or be incurred by such usage and or purchase or receipt or care of products, nor is the reliability, functionality or software guaranteed.

Rays Florist Ltd nor any of its associated companies; parent or subsidiary, associates, employees or partners will not be liable for any amount exceeding that of the monetary value spent by any customer.

The copyright for all bespoke funeral flower floral images shown on Rays Florist Ltd website ("Images") are owned exclusively by Rays Florist Ltd. The copyright in all other floral images shown on Rays Florist Ltd website ("Images") are owned exclusively by eFlorist. All florist sundries images are owned by Smithers Oasis or Rays Florist Ltd. Except as expressly provided for below, no Image may be used, copied or reproduced in any way (including, without limit, storing (incidentally, temporarily, whilst in transit or otherwise) in any medium or form (including, without limit, electronically by digital or analogue means or otherwise)) without the prior written permission of Rays Florist Ltd, except in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. 

Notwithstanding the above, you may download and reproduce and transfer to a third party any Image for the sole purpose of using such image together with a news story or newsworthy article in any newspaper, magazine or other news media or publication made available to the general public in hard copy or electronic format and not otherwise (the "Purpose") provided that the following notice is prominently displayed using suitably obvious text immediately next to, above or below any such copy or reproduction of the Image in any such publication: "This photograph is reproduced with the permission of Rays Florist Ltd, copyright © Rays Florist Ltd 2015". 

You may NOT:

   1. Use, reproduce or publish any Image for any commercial or other reason other than the Purpose;
   2. Retain or allow any third party sent any Image by you to retain any Image in hard copy form or electronically after completion of the Purpose;
   3. Modify, alter, adapt, manipulate, obscure or remove any feature in, combine any other image with or create any montage featuring, any Image in whole or part by computer or other means;
   4. Use any Image in any way which in the sole opinion of Rays Florist Ltd will or is reasonably likely to be unsuitable or inappropriate or which would or might damage the image or reputation of Rays Florist, jeopardise or threaten to jeopardise or invalidate the registration of or do anything which will or might prejudice Rays Florist right or title to any Rays Florist Ltd trade mark or service mark or any Rays Florist Ltd copyright.

All Images are provided hereunder on a non-exclusive basis and without warranty of any kind. Your use of any Image is subject to you agreeing not to infringe the copyright or other intellectual property rights of Rays Florist Ltd and to inform Rays Florist Ltd in writing of any infringement of any Rays Florist Ltd copyright or other intellectual property rights in any Image as soon as possible on becoming aware of the same.
